Product Description

KAPA Library Quantification Kits for Illumina platforms are supplied with DNA Standards (six 10-fold dilutions) and 10X Primer Premix, which are used in conjunction with KAPA SYBR^® FAST Kits to accurately quantify the number of amplifiable molecules in an Illumina library. The 452bp KAPA Illumina DNA Standard consists of a linear DNA fragment flanked by the Illumina sequencing primers. Quantification is achieved by extrapolation against the standard curve generated using the six 10-fold DNA Standard dilutions, followed by a size adjustment to account for the difference in size between the average library size and the size of the standard.

The KAPA SYBR^® FAST qPCR Kit is available as a ready-to-use 2X Master Mix containing all components, except primers and template, for the amplification and detection of DNA in real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR). All KAPA SYBR^® FAST qPCR Kits are supplied with antibody-mediated hot start for high specificity and maximum speed.
