KAPAHiFi™ DNA Polymerase is a novel, single-enzyme system that exhibits industry-leading performance when compared with other high fidelity polymerases and polymerase blends. The intrinsic high processivity of KAPAHiFi™ DNA Polymerase results in significant improvements in yield, speed, target length, and the ability to amplify difficult templates. KAPAHiFi™ DNA Polymerase exhibits over 30x increased fidelity as compared to wild-type Taq polymerase.
Typical proofreading polymerases require extension times of 1 - 2 minutes per kilobase. KAPAHiFi™ DNA Polymerase requires extension times of just 30 seconds per kilobase, providing the potential to save up to 75% of total reaction time.
