Digital PCR is an innovative technology in the field of molecular biology. This technique enables each DNA molecule to be separated and amplified individually. Reaction partitioning offers numerous advantages :
- reduction of amplification inhibitors, particularly on FFPE samples
- multiplexing without competition bias
- absolute quantification
- sensitivity down to 0,01 % (Reita et al. Cancers 2021; 13 (19):4926)
ID Solutions specializes in cutting-edge technologies that drive advancements in molecular biology and diagnostics. They offer an innovative range of products and services that harness the power of modern technology to improve research, screening, and diagnostic processes.

IDQUANT product range
Designed for the standardized detection and quantification of free circulating DNA (cfDNA) in biological samples. It comprises two main kits:
| Product Code |
Product Description |
| IDQUANTq-50 |
For quantitative detection and standardization of circulating free DNA concentrations by Real-Time PCR (RUO) |
| IDQUANTd(b)-50 |
For quantitative detection and standardization of circulating free DNA concentrations by digital PCR (RUO) |
These duplex relative quantification systems enable the simultaneous amplification of extracted circulating free DNA (cfDNA) and an exogenous internal control, ID-ICE, for each sample.
The ID-ICE control makes it possible to assess target extraction efficiency for each sample, and to normalize inter-assay fluctuations for the same donor when monitoring over time.
Normalization with the ID-ICE control can only be performed if the DNA has been extracted using the controls supplied in the IDXtract or IDXtract-MAG extraction kit.

IDENTIFY product range
The IDENTIFY product range is based on the use of Digital PCR (dPCR), enabling ultra-sensitive and specific detection of key genetic mutations in tumor DNA. IDENTIFY products enable absolute quantification, without a standard curve, ideal for detecting low viral loads, analyzing rare mutations, or measuring circulating DNA (cfDNA) in complex samples. All these kits are validated on QX200™ and QX600™ Digital PCR instruments :
