GeneGnome XRQ Dedicated Chemiluminescence System

Western blot imaging has never been so easy than with the GeneGnome XRQ. The GeneGnome XRQ is a fully automated system with a small footprint and is optimised for highly sensitive imaging of chemiluminescence blots and plates. Built-in epi white LEDs are included so that coloured markers can be imaged. No external PC is required.

The GeneGnome XRQ now features one of our new generation high QE camera which have exceptional sensitivity for chemiluminescence work.

Images of up to 16 million pixels can be generated for publication purposes while the standard 4 million pixels output images offer superb quality for all your chemiluminescent blots and plates.

The camera is cooled and has very low noise so imaging chemiluminescent samples is easy. Using GeneSys makes capturing any sample a simple, automatic process. It is genuinely a one-button process with capture times automatically calculated. Exposure times of many hours are possible and always result in clean crisp images.

The system automatically selects the right imaging conditions for any blot irrespective of the chemiluminescent reagents being used. All chemiluminescence applications can easily be handled by the GeneGnome XRQ and can produce superb images even from the faintest of signals.

The compact instrument sits on any laboratory bench taking up very little space. The GeneGnome XRQ is available in three variants :

• GeneGnome XRQ complete with monitor and built-in processor
• GeneGnome XRQ NM complete with built-in processor but no monitor (use own monitor)
• GeneGnome XRQ NPC with no monitor or built-in processor (use own monitor and computer)

The system comes complete with unlimited copies of GeneTools analysis software.

The maximum blot size in a GeneGnome is 11 x 8 cm. If you have larger blots please look at the G:BOX series.

GeneSys

Syngene's revolutionary GeneSys image acquisition software has been developed for use With G:BOX, G:BOX mini, GeneGnome and lnGenius3 systems. GeneSys ensures scientists can quickly capture excellent images of even complex multiplex gels.

The latest version of GeneSys has lots of fantastic and exciting new features. These include:

• Two new Chemi capture features (Auto Chemi Rapid and Signal Accumulation Calculator (SAC))
• The ability to capture colour markers and overlay with a chemi image
• Batch saving of images
• "Save as" replaces 'Export for publication'

Enhanced image is a new feature in the edit screen and the number of steps for automatic capture have been reduced to ensure a quicker route to a Live image.

GeneSys software also includes QuickQuant, a feature for rapid band quantification analysis on blots or gels. For use in Syngene's G:BOX, G:BOX mini and GeneGnome systems, QuickQuant is ideal for scientists who need to perform rapid band quantifcation while they are using their imager. It makes it easy to analyse protein or DNA down to nanogram levels as soon as they have captured their gel or Western blot images.

GeneSys image capture software is suitable for a CFR21 Part 11 compliant environment.
