High Throughput Sizing for Next-Gen Sequencing
The PippinHT incorporates Sage Science’s highly regarded sizing technology and increases throughput to 24 samples per run, compared to a maximum of five with Pippin Prep or Blue Pippin. The instrument offers an efficient, automated solution for scientists running busy sequencing labs, core facilities, and other laboratories producing large-scale sequencing data.
Pre-cast agarose gel cassettes for DNA size selection
Gel cassettes kit are available in several configurations to provide a full range of options. Size select DNA in ranges between 100 bp up to 1.5 kb. Also, High-Pass protocols are available for collecting all larger DNA above a fragment size.
- 3% agarose, 100 - 250 bp
- 2% agarose, 100 - 600 bp
- 1.5% agarose, 300 bp - 1.5 kb
- 0.75% agarose, high-pass size selection
Workflow summary
The PippinHT instrument includes a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. A CPU is built in -> an external PC is not required.
